Sensors for companies, citizens and the environment. Enginko® at LoRaWAN® World Expo 2022.

The 2022 edition of LoRaWAN® World Expo has come to an end, a great opportunity to share with a specialized audience – made up of professionals, technicians and public decision makers – our way of contributing to the issues of the moment.
We have presented three large groups of sensors:
– Building & City
– Industry & Energy
– Agriculture
Within each of these three themes we showed our latest innovations and some evergreens in the field of sensors. Let’s see them together.

Sensors for Building & City

For this category of sensors and devices we have presented:
MCF-LW12CO2E, the LoRaWAN® VOC / Lux / CO2 indoor environmental sensor with led indicated to be installed even in massive quantities in places of large attendance (classrooms, rooms of worship, hospitals, universities, airports …) to monitor air quality and various other parameters.
EGK-LW20W00, the waste level sensor adaptable to countless sectors and applications thanks to its small size, long-lasting battery and robust materials. Plastic, glass, iron, organic waste, paper, any material can be checked thanks to this level sensor.
MCF-LW12TERPM the LoRaWAN® outdoor environmental sensor that detects PM1 PM2.5 PM10 as well as temperature, humidity and pressure and sends them to the LoRaWAN® network without the need for electricity thanks to its integrated solar panel.

Sensors for Energy & Industry

In the field of industry and the energy sector, the following devices are proposed.
The LoRaWAN® interfaces with four input channels to connect any type of analog sensor and to forward measurements to the LoRaWAN® platform, available in different variants with and without batteries.
MCF-LW06424 specific for measuring from 4 to 20 mA and sending the data to the LoRaWAN® network and also available with digital output.
MCF-LW06010 created to measure inputs from 4 to 10V and send the information to the LoRaWAN® network, also available with digital output.

Sensors for Agriculture

At LoRaWAN® World Expo we also presented three devices designed for the agricultural sector:
MCF-LW12TERPM is the compact sensor powered by an integrated solar panel that detects fine dust (PM1, PM2.5, PM10), temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure and sends the data to the LoRaWAN® network.
– EGK-LW20L00 is the multimaterial level sensor that is able to detect the level of solids and liquids even on very large surfaces such as silos, storage areas, streams, etc … It allows to determine the level of water, flour, wheat, solid and organic waste, plastic, paper, glass or snow and integrate this data with air pressure, humidity and temperature.
MCF-LWWS00 is the Davis Instruments Vantage Pro2 weather station. It is robust and flexible and equipped with a wide range of sensors capable of detecting reliable meteorological data in the most demanding circumstances providing the variables of indoor and outdoor temperature and relative humidity, barometric pressure, rainfall, dew point, wind direction and speed ( detachable sensor) and solar radiation. Variants with PM fine dust detection are also available.

In addition to these sensors, we presented three other products at the LoRaWAN® World Expo in Paris.

LoRaWAN® interfaces and actuators

Finally, we have brought with us two universal products that constitute a secure bridge between data collection and their processing at an IT level:
MCF-LW06485 the LoRaWAN® Modbus interface to read and write any register of the device connected via the LoRaWAN® platform

MCF-LW13IO, the LoRaWAN® actuator which, by controlling the input and output status, can transmit this simple information to the LoRaWAN® network, allowing you to monitor industrial and home automation processes, water treatment, irrigation.

The new sensor for monitoring electricity consumption.

It is a product that is also transversal and useful for the most different applications and various sectors that will be available from September 2022. Based on a previous enginko® product, it has been improved in design.
More information will be available in the coming weeks.
